Privacy policy

This policy covers RWADAU Windows Publisher, a private application operated by the RWADAU publishing team, and this information website.

Information the application handles

• Finished videos, titles, descriptions, captions, intended destinations, visibility settings and publication instructions supplied by authorized operators.
• Connected account identifiers, channel or profile names, and permissions returned by the relevant platform.
• Authorization tokens used to access connected accounts, without collecting the account’s password.
• Upload or post identifiers, processing status, publication links, timestamps and error information needed to track an authorized publication.

The YouTube integration uses YouTube API Services. The app requests permission to view the authorized YouTube account and upload videos. Google’s handling of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

How information is used

We use this information to connect the correct account, carry out the operator’s publishing instructions, check the result, avoid duplicate uploads, troubleshoot failures and manage temporary working files. It is not used for advertising profiles, data sales, unrelated marketing, or training general-purpose artificial intelligence models.

RWADAU Windows Publisher’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Storage and access

Account tokens are held in a protected directory on the RWADAU Windows server in New York, United States. Publishing data is accessible to authorized RWADAU operators and the service providers needed to run the application. Operators may work from outside the United States. Tokens are not placed in public pages, captions or video packages.

Source videos remain in the team’s production storage. The publishing server holds working copies. Necessary content and instructions are transmitted to the selected social platform, or to a permitted publishing integration configured by the operator for that platform. Each such platform or integration handles received data under its own terms and privacy policy.

For platforms that retrieve videos from a URL, authorized operators can make a separate delivery copy accessible through an unlisted, temporary HTTPS link on our New York server. Anyone holding that link can retrieve the video until it expires or is revoked. Links last at most 24 hours, and expired delivery copies are automatically removed. Source files and account credentials are not exposed through this service.

Retention and deletion

Working video copies are retained until their intended publication results are confirmed or an authorized operator cancels and removes the package. Removing a server working copy does not remove the original source file or a post already held by a social platform.

We keep publishing records only as needed to operate the queue and reconcile publications. Data obtained from platform APIs is refreshed or deleted as required by that platform’s retention rules. When account access is revoked or deletion is requested, we delete the associated authorization tokens and authorized API data from the application within seven calendar days, subject to any applicable legal retention obligation. Locally supplied media or instructions can be removed separately on request.

To disconnect or request deletion, follow the data-deletion instructions or contact the RWADAU team. You can also revoke Google account access directly in Google account permissions. Deleting app-held data does not delete your social account.

This website

This website does not use advertising, analytics scripts or application cookies. Our hosting provider, Netlify, processes the network information needed to deliver and protect the website, such as IP addresses and request details. See Netlify’s privacy policy. Linked websites apply their own policies.

Updates

We update this page when the app’s data practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
